In honor of Patrick Swayze’s wonderful life, I’ve decided to depart from my usual binary voting system. So pick your poison.

Dirty Dancing: “Nobody puts baby in a corner.” ‘Nuff said.

Road House: The tagline for this movie was “The dancing’s over. Now it gets dirty.”

Ghost: “Your dead, Willie.” Ditto.

SNL: Remember this?

Point Break: Trivia – Patrick Swayze is an accomplished skydiver and took part in the big skydiving scene. Utah, get me two.

Donnie Darko: So the rad painting of Patrick Swayze that gets burned with the house was a real painting someone had done for Swayze in the 90s. Also the clothes he wore were really some of his old clothes.

    The penny. How could you not love the penny scene? It was a tough choice though but ultimately I had to go with Sam Wheat.

    Johnny Castle has a mean side. Sam redefined the meaning of a good husband.

    I will miss him. His death really made me sad. :(

    Listen, you can’t pick just one favorite movie of his. To do so cheapens all his other great movies. Remember on the Outsiders where he runs out the front door to go rumble, only to stop and make time to do a quick handstand on a chainlink frence. What about Red Dawn? If I where to choose one of those two movies, I would be turning my back on Piont Break, which I promised I would never do.
