Which children’s book do you like better?

I would like to officially announce how excited I am for the Where the Wild Things Are movie. Even the trailer is amazing! There are so many factors that seem to be so right for the film. Spike Jonze, Arcade Fire, Karen O, Jim Henson Company, Catherine Keener, and Paul Dano, to name just a few. I hope it can live up to my expectations.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas the movie sucked, but the cartoon was awesome. And the book is wonderful of course. Two classics here, but ultimately you’ve got to pick one.
And while we’re on the subject of children’s books, I’ve got one for you to check out. It’s called Rose and the Bald-Headed Elephant by Wooley Cottswold. It is an amazing, sweet story that incorporates themes such as friendship and self-esteem. Why does it seem so rare these days to see children’s books that can provide such a positive message without being bathetic? Well I’m predicting Rose and the Bald-Headed Elephant to be a classic! Oh and the illustrations are incredible. It is new and we are trying to get the word out, so tell your friends, and while you’re at it pre-order a copy at Barnes and Noble here. Or call your favorite bookstore and tell them you want it (the ISBN is 9780977906406) NOW!-I mean August 1st.

I love both books, but that Grinch wins my heart every time!
Where the Wild Things Are – hands down.
absolutely it’s gotta be Where the Wild things are… can not wait for the movie!!!
I kindof like them both equally. I mean, I voted because I had to, but they are both really good books. Chase definatly likes Where the Wild things are better….and she pretty much rocks, so I voted for that.
I love them both too. I loved the Grinch movie with Jim Carey. I also cannot wait for the wild things movie.
I think I’ve been influenced by the kick-ass trailer for WTWTA.
