What will become of Jon and Kate?
I know you’ve all been keeping up with the Jon and Kate drama. For those of you who don’t have a clue what I’m talking about I’ll give you a brief synopsis:
Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a reality show on TLC. Jon and Kate had some twins, got pregnant again, and had sextuplets. The show follows their day to day life so we can see the madness of taking care of 8 little kids at the same time. Kate loves the attention she gets from the show. Jon looks miserable 79% of the time. Kate treats Jon like a disobedient child (Kate Plus 9?). Recently Jon was seen on a night out with a lady friend sans his wedding ring. It is also rumored that Kate is having an affair with her bodyguard. Now they are all over the tabloids with various rumors of affairs and what not.
There are lots of opinions out there. Some say all the recent drama is just a big publicity stunt to get more ratings. And ratings are definitely up. Others say the two have an open marriage at this point. I’ve heard that the marriage really ended 6 months ago, but they have a contract and have kept up appearances so the show wouldn’t die. Some say it’s Kate’s fault because she’s domineering, yells at Jon all the time, and talks incessantly. Others say Jon is lazy and irresponsible. My personal theory is that Jon wanted to get caught, at least subconsciously. When you’re somewhat famous, you probably know that if you go to a crowded night club with another woman and no wedding ring, people are going to notice. He is probably miserable with Kate (who wouldn’t be) and is ready to face the consequences.

I’ve never seen that show, but after watching her lose it over a receipt on that clip makes me feel for her poor husband. Ditch her, Jon.

Now when I find myself being mean to my husband I stop and think, “oh goll I sound like Kate” and back off. She is really horrible.
I think they should turn off the cameras and work on their relationship and their family. Not sure I believe all the “cheating” rumors, so I hope they stay together and get some professional help to work through their issues.
Although it saddens me, I voted for the breakup. I used to love this show. Now, I just get embarassed for Kate. She is totally different now, treats Jon like crap and hardly is ever home.
I kinda think they are taking advantage of their kids. I’m with LIndsay. I think they need to stop the show, and work on their marriage. But honestly, I think it’s beyond that.
I agree with LeAnn, Kate makes me a better wife. If I find myself treating my husband like Kate treats Jon I have to stop and think WWTOOKD? (what would the opposite of Kate do?). The answer is always shut up and be nice to your husband.

She is a bitch, and I feel bad for Jon. Breakup!
You have 8 little kids. Deal with it and be good parents. You don’t get to put your happiness first utill your kids are adults.
