Who is the more embarrassing Mormon?

Both active Mormons. Both annoying as hell. Let me start out by saying that this is not a political blog. This is a humor/pop culture blog. Most politicians and political commentators bug me. Although we employ the democratic process here, there are probably better forums for political arguments. But if you really want to, go ahead.
I feel bad for Marie Osmond. I know there are Marie Osmond fans out there. And she is probably a nice person and all…or maybe not, I don’t really know. What I do know is that I get embarrassed just watching her. It’s like she emanates this air of desperation. All I hear when I see her mouth move is “Please give me attention. I said give me attention! GIVE ME ATTENTION OR I WILL KILL YOUR FAMILY!!!” Most of you have probably seen Marie fainting on Dancing with the Stars. I’m not here to debate whether she faked it or not, but even leading up to the faint her presence just gets under my skin. Please give it a rest.
Can it get any worse than Glenn Beck? I’m sorry Glenn Beck fans, but come on. He is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant, and ridiculous people on television. It’s almost not funny. I think he could cause some real damage. Anything for ratings, right? Even if you agree with his views, it is hard to justify his toolness. And even if you’re more of a dog person, it is hard to justify his hatred of “frickin’ cats“. Here are a few quotes:
“The most used phrase in my administration if I were to be President would be ‘What the hell you mean we’re out of missiles?’”
Thank you, male-version of Ann Coulter. You’re a dick.

Glenn Beck freaks me out. Literally, freaks me the hell out.
Just so you know, that quote of glenn beck talking about the 911 victim families is totally taken out of context. He doesn’t hate the victims, or their families, he just didn’t like that they were making it all about themselves. He was talking about our entire country being attacked, and the victims families making it all about their loss. But don’t get me wrong, I know that would be a very difficult thing to listen to his whole segment.
Wow, THIS WAS A TOUGH ONE! I have intense emotions about both of them.
Ultimately, I went with Marie because she seems to be on enough commercials to get under my skin a bit too frequently. I just change the channel when I see Brother Beck.
This one is way too hard. I’m going to have to fast and pray about it before I vote.
You know the Mormon I hate the worst right now? Jay Bybee. I’m sorry, I know this isn’t a political blog. But that guy would justify eating your baby.
So as much as I dislike the whole Osmand clan because they are all obnoxious and annoying adults still acting like teen agers. I dislike Glenn Beck even more. I dislike most political commentators because they are mean and rude and annoying.
Seriously Ryan, there is no such thing as taking that quote out-of-context. Give me a break. You know who deserves to make 9-11 all about themselves? The people who actually suffered real actual loss on that day, you know, the people lost loved ones. I know that Glenn (snif snif) loves his country (snif snif) and all, but the 9-12 project, I want to go back to the world we had a day after 9-11…no, that’s not making trajedy all about yourself or anything. Marie is annoying, but not a dangerous moron. Glenny-cakes all the way.
Ryan, even “in context” that statement is just ridiculous and stupid. The thing is extremists like Glenn Beck will say anything if they think it will get them higher ratings, even if they don’t really believe it. But what’s scary is that they are influencing millions of people that will believe it.
Marie scares me in more of a “Creature from the Black Lagoon” kind of way.
Glenn Beck was reviewed in People magazine in this weeks issue. I think they gave him 2 1/2 out of 4 stars. I was shocked that he got that high of a score. He seems kind of like a D-bag to me.
Glenn Beck burns my eyes.
okay… thank you so much for that Colbert clip! That completely made my day. And those fan pictures… hilarious. I think I found my new favorite blog.
That being said… I love Marie Osmond. :) But, WHY with the porcelain dolls? They are a little creepy.
